Press Release
Mon Nov 08 2010
Mark your calendars! December 6 - 10 is Employee Learning Week - a week designated to focus the spotlight on the value of workplace learning and development and the amazing professionals who make it happen.
ASTD started Employee Learning Week eight years ago and every year we are excited to recieve news about the creative ways individuals, organizations, and local ASTD chapters recognize and celebrate it.
Recently Rep. James Moran of Virginia offered a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives recognizing Employee Learning Week (visit www.employeelearningweek.org) to read the resoultion as it appeared in the Congressional Record. We are also getting news from some proactive ASTD chapters that are securing proclamations from their governors, mayors, and county or city councils.
So what are YOU doing to celebrate the important work of employee learning and devleopment?
Be sure to let us know -- so we can recognize your efforts with a Champion of Learning Certificate.
For more information, resources -- and a snapshot of what others have done (in case you need some ideas) -- check out the Employee Learning Week website!
