The new Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey shows a small improvement in employee engagement scores.

Employee engagement among U.S. government workers has ticked up 1 percent in the past year, according to the 2016 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey. That means 65 percent of government employees overall report feeling engaged at their job, including 65 percent of employees at large agencies (more than 800 people) and 69 percent of employees at small agencies (fewer than 800 people).
