Overcoming Barriers to Collaboration

Leading EDGE: Executives Driving Government Excellence is an interagency executive leadership development program authorized in September 2011 to facilitate a free flow of ideas and agency-spanning collaboration. It was launched by the President's Management Council (PMC), which is comprised of deputy secretaries and agency administrators from across the federal government and chaired by the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The program's collaborative approach aims to create a seamless and powerful senior executive corps, unified in purpose, aligned in priorities, and one that can deliver better government performance to the taxpayer.
