The article focuses on the research which states that age is not a hindrance in managing a corporation in the U.S. According to a poll by the OfficeTeam company, a staffing service base in Menlo Park, California, eighty-four percent of workers said that they would be comfortable reporting to a manager who is younger than them, and eighty-nine percent said that they would not mind supervising employees older than them. Furthermore, eleven percent of those polled disclosed that they would be somewhat uncomfortable, and three percent would be very comfortable managing older persons. Diane Domeyer, executive director of OfficeTeam, concluded that the manager's abilities are more of a factor in employee job satisfaction than his age.
