The article discusses the strategy used by the Ingersoll Rand University (IRU) to engage leaders from all levels of the business in all aspects of its institutional design and key operational processes. The university created a ladder of engagement model, which depicts distinct roles for leaders with progressively increasing levels of engagement in the university's processes.
