The article reports on the new federal training assistance guide posted by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Policy and Public Leadership in the U.S. The federal training assistance guide has provided information on more than 200 federal grants and other assistance programs that can be used for workforce training and development. It also provides information on two important sources of public assistance, such as the direct financial assistance from the federal government and the national job training system covered by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.
