Do you want a tool that can help you build surveys for your learning program, distribute a quiz, or collect registration information for your next webinar? Do you want this tool to be free, but still personalized and easy to use?

Then you might want to try using Google Forms. It's a web-based surveying tool and part of the office suite offered by Google with its Google Drive service. It enables you to create surveys and forms, distribute them, and then collect and analyze the responses. Sign up by creating or logging in to a Gmail account.

Overall, one of the application's biggest strengths (outside of being free) is its usability. As soon as you log in, you can choose to either create a blank form or use a template provided by Google. From there, you can add and modify questions, create new sections, insert new titles and descriptions, embed videos, and include images. When you add a photo or logo, Google Forms will pick the right background colors to complete your unique survey, but you also can choose from a set of curated themes to set the tone for your project.

When it's time to distribute your survey, Google Forms gives you plenty of options. You can send your survey via email, use a web link, or embed it in a website. As you receive responses, they will be collected automatically within the application. You'll see the information visualized in charts in real time, and the data can be exported to Excel or Google Sheets for further analysis.
