Microsoft PowerPoint is the default presentation software for many businesses. But the founders of Pitch, another platform for making and sharing presentations, are betting on the idea that modern users seek a more collaborative option.
Pitch offers developers the mainstay features they need to create a visually pleasing presentation and enables users to import their own assets and styles to its library of pre-made templates. Pitch also can integrate input from third-party apps and data streams, such as Google Analytics, enabling users to easily funnel data into charts and graphs. And users can embed multiple prerecorded videos into presentations, with customizable video sizes, shapes, and positioning for each slide.
Pitch's collaboration tools set it apart from other presentation software options. Using the tool, team members can engage in a live video chat to discuss slide formats and content, make edits, and troubleshoot problems.
Additionally, Pitch offers analytics tools for tracking the number of views for each presentation. In the future, the developer plans to give users the ability to measure how much time viewers spend on each slide.
