CVS Health has opened a Workforce Innovation and Talent Center (WITC) at the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority's Rosewind Community Center in Columbus, Ohio. Working in collaboration with local organizations such as Eckerd Connects, Columbus State Community College, YouthBuild, and Columbus Jewish and Family Services, the WITC provides free training for pharmacy technicians, customer service associates, call-center workers, and retail associates.

The WITC features a simulated retail store, offering hands-on, real-world skills development. Participants who complete the program are eligible to apply for positions at CVS Health.

According to the CVS Health website, "Starting from a core foundation of trust, aligned values and a united mission, we work with dedicated community partners to customize our workforce development hubs to the specific needs of each community, incorporating education and skill development into effective workforce training."
