The article presents a survey conducted by BlessingWhite, a consulting agency, regarding employee attitudes in the U.S. Result shows that majority of employees plan to stay with their employer during 2008. According to Mary Ann Masarech, director of research and marketing, the percent of disgruntled employees, should be less of concern than the number of fence sitters, those who are unsure whether to stay with their employer which are considered at risk to leave the company. Employees' restlessness to stay with their employer is attributed to not enough opportunities, desire for change and dislike of current tasks.
