The article reports on a survey on employees' views on the organization's corporate social responsibility policies, conducted to 1.6 million employees of more than 70 international companies by Sirota Survey Intelligence Inc. Results reveal that 86% of the respondents depict high levels of engagement due to their satisfaction with such policies, 82% believe that their organization is highly competitive, and 75% claim that their employers are concerned with their well-being. Sirota's president Douglas Klein suggests that companies must focus on social issues in order to have a productive stake in the global economy, as social responsibility creates long-tem sustainability for corporate success by meeting the needs of all constituents, which include suppliers, investors, and employees.
