As the world of work evolves, so does the experience of today's mature employees—those 55 and older. Unlike previous generations, mature professionals are approaching their careers and retirement planning with fresh perspectives, driven by purpose, longevity, and a desire for continued growth. According to 2022 Gallup research, the average retirement age in the US was 57 in 1991. Fast forward to today, and it's climbed to 61. Last year, research from management consulting firm Bain & Company found that workers older than 55 will fill 150 million more jobs globally by 2030.
