The article discusses the need for a new execution planning step that will solve the strategy execution problem and will offer human resources (HR) professionals a unique opportunity to assume a new organizational function. It is argued that the failure to execute has become a major concern of executives because it limits the growth of an organization as well as its adaptability and competitiveness. It describes that the planning step between strategic planning is a creative process to identify, communicate and implement initiatives for the achievement of the strategic goals.
