Listening to a podcast can be a great way to kill time and learn something during your commute to work, but what if you're looking for something shorter? The From Scratch podcast may be for you. Nigel Paine and Martin Couzins' chats on L&D topics, which they host once or twice per month, are often just five minutes long. Usually, Couzins (a journalist, editor, curator, and publisher) will ask a question, and Paine (a former chief learning officer who now teaches, consults, and writes books on leadership, learning, and people development) will take it from there.
As an example, in episode 113, the duo discuss the latest GoodPractice research into the 70-20-10 model for organizational learning. And in episode 111, Couzins and Paine converse about the role of peer learning in organizations. For a recap of all the 2018 episodes, take a listen to episode 115, where the hosts reflect on their highlights.
Not only is this an interesting podcast for those looking for a short, provocative burst of learning, but the newspaper cartoon-style artwork on their site is also worth a look.
