It may not be a surprise, but here’s the official word: Nearly all organizations increased their use of virtual managers last year. According to the Association for Talent Development report Developing Virtual Managers: Driving Excellence From Afar , of the 178 responding companies, the average percentage of managers who are virtual rose from 21 percent before the COVID-19 pandemic to 77 percent by the end of 2020.
