This article reports that according to a new survey, priority is given to management-level training in Great Britain. The survey was conducted by Cegos UK, a learning and development provider. Almost 61 percent of the respondents said that managers received the maximum training in their companies. It was also found that 26 percent of all respondents received no workplace training during the year 2005. According to Jeremy Blain, joint managing director of Cegos UK, a good training strategy has a positive effect on employee motivation because people feel valued when they see that their employer is investing in their future.
