Learning programs are not just intended to change people's behaviors. When done right, they contribute to achieving meaningful business results. As instructional designers, it is imperative for us to understand the business we support and align our work to achieving a business strategy and resolving business problems or challenges that affect such achievement. To do this, we must start with evaluation in mind and knowing what results we should expect from a successful learning program.
