The article reports on the findings of the survey conducted by Robert Half Technology Inc. concerning the chief information officers (CIO) who were asked to identify the most coveted technical skills in the U.S. It shows that 14% of CIOs expect to increase the number of information technology (IT) staff in the second quarter of 2008. Meanwhile, two percent anticipate reductions in staff, and the majority of CIOs expect to maintain current staff levels. Moreover, networking continues to experience the most growth.
