The article discusses the research survey results conducted by American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and Corporate Productivity 14cp global business and corporate expansions. The research was focused on determining the factors that influenced the role of corporate learning in the globally dispersed workforces including best practices, barriers to success and lessons learned from experience. Accordingly, many of the 397 survey respondents opted to expand, and some are planning to expand their corporate organizations in highly industrialized regions such as North America, Europe and Middle East. The result showed that the primary drivers warranting the regional expansions of organizations were the high level of human resources and learning professionals.
