The article reports on the results of the survey regarding global training conducted by TrainingOutsourcing.COM and outsourcing provider Expertus in the U.S. The survey found that 82 percent of the companies that provided training to employees, customers and partners are involved in global operations. The areas explored by the survey include the percentage of current budget spent on training outside of home countries, governance of global training, the use of electronic learning and learning management systems and language translations. Major challenges faced by the organizations in training include budget constraints, lack of control and distributed locations.
