The article examines the condition and developments of organizational survey researches in assessing the condition of business employees in the organizational settings. It detects some flaws on the survey methods use and discusses several strategies on how to improve the survey methods so as to minimize inaccuracy and hasty generalization on the subjects. It highlights primary focus most organizational surveys which the employee engagement specially the cognitive, affective and behavioral levels of employees. It also discusses several theories utilized in organizational surveys from survey plan and survey development. The article also offers diagrams illustrating the elements of employee engagement, and scaling method in assessing the mind set of employee.
