Intelligence and aptitude tests are used at RCA Communications, Inc., to amplify the interviewer's first impressions of the applicant and to supplement the tentative judgment he has formed as to general intelligence and specific aptitudes. They are not intended to be the ultimate deciding factor in the acceptance or rejection of any applicant and, ideally, do not serve to nullify any definite impressions the interviewer has formed.
