Public Sector Employees Use Their Own Devices for Work

GovLoop, an online community of more than 60,000 members representing the federal, state, and local governments, conducted a survey of 103 members to learn about the state of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) trends in government.

The responses reveal the common challenges and roadblocks for BYOD in the public sector. The survey finds that only 20 percent of respondents have a BYOD policy. However, the survey shows that BYOD is prevalent.
