The year 2020 was pivotal for healthcare organizations around the world but especially for us at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. We pride ourselves on the excellence of our people. So, when the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated an agile workforce, our leaders were ready to navigate transformational changes because of a pivotal decision made two years prior, well before there was any consideration of a pandemic.
