The article reports on the implication of little sleep on work productivity in the U.S. A survey from the Better Sleep Council (BSC) indicated that a decline in quality of work, poor judgment and trouble retaining information as the top work-related consequences from sleep deprivation. According to a spokesperson from Better Sleep Month campaign, some people believe they can accomplish more if they spend less time sleeping, however, limited sleep could affect every aspect of one's life including job performance. Sleep deprivation costs businesses nearly $150 billion annually in absenteeism and lost productivity.
