It was announced today by Thomas M. Dykers, Rear Admiral U.S.N. (Ret.), that Svend Pedersen, Inter-nationally recognized technical training specialist, had accepted the position as Director of Training of the War Emer-gency Training Service of Los Angeles of which Dykers is president. By appointment from the United Nations, Pedersen, for the past two years has been Director of Asian Field Office on Technical Training, and has completed a survey of the countries of Asia and the Far East to determine their needs for man-power development pro-grams.
