The survey was conducted by McKinsey & Co. About 54 percent of executives think that senior managers do not spend enough time on talent management while 52 percent consider that line managers are not committed to career development. Problems like line managers' unwillingness to differentiate between high and low performers, non-alignment of talent management and business strategies, are voted as the next obstacles by executives.
