Team Building Is a Process, Not an Event

A quick scan of some websites generated at least 14 reasons for team building. The most commonly cited reasons are increasing trust, improving communication, and bonding. While those are admirable goals, team building may or may not achieve them. The effectiveness of team building depends on several factors, not just the type of team building activity selected.
