The article discusses the results of a survey that was conducted by the recruitment and talent management agency Hudson on the effectiveness of retention strategies in the U.S. According to the survey, 72 percent of employees have rated their organizations as a good place to work, while 64 percent have stated that their employers value their contributions. Moreover, 75 percent of managers have reported that they were unaware of an active retention strategy being used within their organization. Steven Levine, vice president of Hudson, has cited several work-life balance initiatives which include flex time, work at home offerings and incentives as a way to keep employees satisfied.
