Fifth Third Bank is partnering with the NAACP to launch a training program aimed at upskilling community members with career literacy competences. Launching in Detroit, Michigan; Tampa, Florida; and Orlando, Florida, the workforce development program will target under- and unemployed individuals in local communities. The goal is to train more than 100,000 people across the financial services firm's 10-state footprint by 2020 with partnerships at the national, regional, state, and local levels.

Through the program, participants will have the opportunity to attend in-person workshops (depending on what is offered at specific locations) and to participate in multimedia training courses.
