Like many hospitals in the United States, Orlando-based Florida Hospital is experiencing a significant increase in the diversity of its staff and patient base. This, combined with new requirements of the Affordable Healthcare Act (AHA), led the hospital's Office of Diversity and Inclusion to create a cultural competency training program for all hospital community members.
