Word Wiz: Motivation Profiles

Data is everywhere in business, leading to insights on how an agile company can run well. But data is lacking in the things that motivate employees and get them excited for their jobs. As detailed in an ERE Media article by HR thought leader John Sullivan, a "motivation profile" is a "formal electronic record of each individual employee's current and historical motivation factors." Gathering data on what keeps people working hard, Sullivan writes, can help close the gap between what managers think would motivate their employees and what would actually motivate them.
