Scientific research has given us insights into learning and memory. This highly interactive session will provide dramatic examples of factors that increase (and sometimes decrease) learning and memory. We will present illustrations of how advertisers effectively incorporate these factors into their campaigns, and then provide concrete examples of how you can build them into your e-learning and maximize learning and behavior change. This seminar then discusses a novel and immersive form of online courseware that greatly increases learning and memory. The courseware provides a video-based performance of a textbook and surrounds it with powerful pedagogical tools that create a sense of immersion and dramatically increase learning.
