Cafeteria-style learning is an approach to learning that allows instructional designers (chefs) to apply content (ingredients) to a variety of interchangeable activities (recipes), resulting in an informal classroom workshop in which each learner builds a customized learning experience (meal). In this session, you will explore the science behind choice-based learning and examples of cafeteria learning. This session will provide just enough choice-based interaction to allow you to grasp the concept and imagine the possibilities.
