Too often, learning and development is proceeding under at least a few misapprehensions. Whether it's learning styles, the traits of Millennials and other generations, attention spans, or another belief or practice, these myths not only waste time and money, they can actually be contrary to the desired outcome! In this session, we'll review the ways we can go wrong, with some familiar examples, and cover what to do instead. There is a valid basis upon which we can, and should, perform, and we need to ensure that we know and use it. The speaker will also provide a basis for avoiding such mistakes in the future. As professional practitioners, we need to be able to stand up to scrutiny and justify what we do. Ensure that you pass the test!
