Diversity and inclusion has always been an important topic and is one of the 23 capabilities (Cultural Awareness and Inclusion) in the Talent Development Capability Model. In these times of heightened awareness, it's critical for talent development professionals to foster an inclusive work environment; convey respect for different perspectives, races, religions, backgrounds, customs, abilities, behaviors and norms; and integrate D&I principles into their TD strategies and initiatives.
ATD has pulled together some of our best D&I content to help you create a world that works better! Explore these blog posts, articles, webinars, and more to help you create a diverse workplace culture that welcomes the differences of all people, and creates an environment of learning and encourages sensitivity.

ATD, in partnership with thought leaders Rita Bailey, Elaine Biech, and Tonya Wilson, hosted a three-part discussion series on DE&I for talent development professionals. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is important for a healthy workplace culture. This topic is included in the Cultural Awareness & Inclusion Capability – part of the Talent Development Capability Model – and drives this discussion series. This discussion focused on personal experiences with and feelings about DE&I, how to have conversations about DE&I with others, and how to support organizations in creating sustainable DE&I initiatives.
