Yes, small group coaching practice sessions are included throughout this program. As you learn new skills, you will participate in practice “real-play” sessions using either provided scenarios or your own examples.

In response to participant feedback, the program now includes an additional day dedicated to practice. You will spend your final day applying techniques and tools by taking on the roles of coach, coachee, and observer. Feedback from your facilitator and peers will support you as you perfect your style to support your coaching engagements.

• Refine your approach by recognizing and evaluating factors that affect the client coaching journey.

This program is for individuals who want to develop successful coaching skills and competencies for use with individuals, teams, or an entire organization. This coaching program is approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for core competency and resource development units but does not grant ICF coaching certification.

Additionally, ATD’s Coaching Certificate provides recertification credits for PHR, SPHR, GPHR, and is valid for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP PDCs. It also offers professional development hours or recertification points from the ATD Certification Institute for APTD and CPTD credentials.
