Making the Move From Project Manager to Strategic Leader

Wednesday, November 9, 2016

Kevin Eikenberry, author of Remarkable Leadership: Unleashing Your Leadership Potential One Skill at a Time, recently interviewed me for the Remarkable Leadership Podcast series. Kevin and I discussed how the world of project management is evolving. In particular, we examined the notion that even project managers need to exhibit strategic leadership skills.

But how can project managers reinforce communication required to maintain trust and awareness? What are some key ways to model personal awareness, regulation, and development? Are they any hacks to leveraging assessment results to align and collaborate with the team?

For answers to these and other questions, listen to the podcast. What’s more, consider the ATD Certificate in Strategic Leadership. You will learn how to manage change and transition while leading others and aligning actions and priorities with strategic direction.
