What does it mean to be a department of one? It’s more than just getting by with limited of resources. You need to be able to think creatively and collaboratively. You also need to be a jack of all trades because you’ll be doing everything from managing projects, to instructional design, to development and media creation, to much more.

In this conversation, I talk to Emily Wood, author of the new ATD Press book E-Learning Department of One about the challenges and benefits of bearing the load alone. Emily offers tips and insights into the complications she’s faced and what’s helped her succeed.
