Over recent years, business professionals and, more specifically, talent development practitioners, have learned a lot about employee engagement. For example, employers gain when workers are tuned in, committed, and pouring their invaluable time and energy back into the business. Also, staff are more likely to be engaged when their own needs are being met, both personally and professionally. TD and people managers attempt to offer an outlet for employees' thoughts, ideas, and underlying skill sets to shine through by asking employees to share their knowledge and opinions with them.
