Blog Buzz: Qaspire.com

Friday, September 1, 2017

If you're a talent development professional who prefers visual learning, then you might enjoy Qaspire.com. The author of this blog, Tanmay Vora, uses digital drawing technology to illustrate ideas about leadership, learning, and change.

Vora often finds material for his sketch notes by translating what he reads into visual form. One example is "Future of Work: Four Shifts Leaders Must Focus On." In that post, Vora presents his summary of an article he found on the Drucker Forum blog with an elaborate infographic. Easy to read and understand, the infographic depicts in a single page how leaders must adopt new attitudes toward business mindsets, skills, behaviors, and systems.

One of this blogger's greatest strengths is his ability to capture the essence of a phrase, or even a whole article, in one small image. The source articles Vora works with often run several pages, but his infographics are consistently short and clear. This makes the site an excellent tool for finding new websites to read because it lets you quickly scan and understand content from a wide variety of sources.
