In many organizations, it's not uncommon for talent development practitioners to have some working relationship with HR. This book is a great resource that L&D professionals can turn to for quick primers on all things related to HR. For this 10th anniversary edition, the authors have added new topics on pay equity and transparency; the challenges of remote and distributed workforces; and diversity, equity, and inclusion. They also address several L&D topics; five chapters explore employee development. This book won't answer all of your questions on any given topic, but it is a starting point.
