Feedback is a vital part of any talent development professional's process. AnswerGarden provides a quick and easy way to gather data from your trainees.
Create a free AnswerGarden by entering a question you will ask during a live training session. You can then share it by embedding the link on your blog or a social media page or sending the link via email. Respondents can either enter their own responses (no more than 40 characters each) or select from pre-existing answers. Once participants have had a chance to answer, the tool generates a word cloud of all the responses to your query.
AnswerGarden has four modes: Classroom, the default mode, which enables respondents to submit an unlimited number of answers but only submit each answer once; Brainstorm, in which respondents can submit an unlimited number of answers, including the same answer, an unlimited number of times; Locked, in which users can no longer submit answers; and Moderator, in which the tool redirects each answer to the AntiGarden. Use the AntiGarden feature to make public only those answers that are appropriate or relevant.
After you've gathered all the responses, you can export the data to online tools—such as Wordle (the word cloud tool, not the game) or Tagxedo—and create a printable poster of the word cloud.
