Disengaged Employees Are Flight Risks

Monday, February 28, 2022

A bench with two seats sit below a Departures screen. Two suitcases sit to the left of the bench and two plants sit to the right.

More than half of employees are confident they can find a job as good as and that pays as much as their current role.

Employees who agree they will be at their job in one year:
•	88% are highly engaged
•	49% are disengaged

Reasons workers leave:
•	Poor leadership communication
•	Lack of employee recognition
•	Lack of career growth and development
•	Insufficient work-life balance and flexibility
•	Inadequate employee and leadership feedback
•	Lack of competitive benefits

9 out of 10 employees believe exit surveys will help improve current workers’ experience.
