Created by an instructional designer duo, this website provides a platform for talent development professionals to learn from one another, share their experiences, and demonstrate expertise. Users can use it to either ask or answer questions on a variety of learning-related topics, covering everything from when to use job aids to explaining the importance of compliance training.
Although the website does have an option to create a profile—which is necessary for asking and answering questions—anyone can view different posts and their responses. You can browse the site by question category, question age, question views, and whether questions are active or unsolved.
In addition to its question-and-response capabilities, eLearning Chatter has several other features that help talent development professionals share their stories and communicate with one another. For example, it recently launched a page called "Solved It," which enables users to submit case studies that describe the strategies used to address a training problem using e-learning.
