Get Reworked

Wednesday, March 1, 2023

Simpler Media Group, through its Reworked digital publication, covers the "r/evolution" of work and workplace transformation. So when the pandemic hit and the abrupt exodus from physical offices happened in 2020 and transformed the work world, it was a natural fit for Reworked Editors-in-Chief Siobhan Fagan and Mike Prokopeak to host a podcast about the ways we work.

Get Reworked focuses on the evolution of work, with business leaders discussing how they have adapted to stay ahead of the curve. In the inaugural episode, Fagan—who leads the publication's editorial content strategy and production and Simpler Media Group's modern workplace information services—and Prokopeak, who leads content development focused on workplace transformation, discuss with the company's Vice President of Research Sarah Kimmel the state of the digital workplace prior to and after the emergence of COVID-19.

The co-hosts have subsequently discussed a variety of topics, including what organizations can do about burnout and designing an effective hybrid workplace. In a recent episode, they talk with Eloiza Domingo, vice president and chief inclusive diversity and equity officer at Allstate, about making a difference with diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. In another episode, Howard Prager, an executive coach and author who was on the scene of a mass shooting in 2022, explains the need for more kindness in the workplace. He notes why times of trouble are when people should focus on others.
