You never know what hiring managers might ask.

When a senior manager sits down with a prospective employee for an in-person interview, the preferred questions often stick to the applicant's interest in the position and company, according to a survey by staffing firm Accountemps, which asked 300 senior managers at companies with 20-plus U.S. employees.
