Learning Uncut

Friday, November 1, 2019

The Learning Uncut podcast is great for anyone in search of quality discussion surrounding L&D. The podcast prides itself on being professional but not so edited and polished that it loses its authenticity. Hosts Michelle Ockers, Karen Maloney, and Amanda Ashby are showcasing real examples of what's happening in the L&D world that we can all learn from. It's conversational, informative, and enjoyable to listen to. Episodes run every other week and last 30-45 minutes each.

In Episode 34, for example, the hosts take on the topic of speaking at conferences. They converse with guests Emma Weber and JD Dillon about how they think about conferences and what they do before, during, and after the event to get as much out of it as possible. The guests discuss their contrasting styles and emphasize the importance of determining the approach that is best for you within a given context.

Other episodes include "The Secret Sauce of eLearning Success," "Shaping Culture Through Coaching," and "Mapping the Learner Journey." Each episode includes show notes, links, downloadable resources, and a transcript.
