With the rise of remote work, the line between work and personal time has blurred, and the number of remote workers experiencing burnout has soared. But they aren't the only ones. Staff with traditional working arrangements are also experiencing burnout and a rise in stress and fatigue.

Workers feeling weighed down by heavy workloads can practice Lillördag, which translates to "little Saturday," to break up the monotony of tasks and make the workweek more bearable. Lillördag is a Nordic tradition that calls for people to participate in weekend-like celebrations during the middle of the week. The best part is that there are no rules for how to do so. For some, it may mean grabbing a beer, seeing a movie, or playing a sport with friends or colleagues; for others, it's time alone with a beverage and a good book.

Try Lillördag as a way to disconnect from work and stress. Doing so will help you recalibrate your week and boost your well-being.
