Employers in all sectors are telling colleges and universities they must prepare a new workforce for an increasingly complex, digital, and unstable global work environment. For universities, rising student debt and competition from for-profit and noncredit providers are leading to consumer and government demands for lower costs, greater access, and higher economic return on investment for academic degrees.
